في رحلتي عــبر تصفح المدونات, وجدت هذا الموضوع وقد لفت أنتباهي و أعجبني كثيراً لما يحويه من منطق قد غاب عن ذهن البشرية .
"My friend flunked maths - Maths is a totally useless, nonsense and a crappy subject - should be discarded and never taught!”
“My neighbor had a fatal car accident - Cars are reckless - they should be banned!”
” I want to write a review of a book.. a book which i have never read”
What do you think of the above three statements? logical? clever? factual? or downright stupid!??

But this is exactly how we judge Islam and then think that we are the most intelligent being on earth!
If a Muslim fails in Islam - we blame Islam. If a muslim does something wrong, criminal, offensive or sinful, we love to blame it on Islam.
If a muslim causes fatalities by becoming a terrorist, a murderer or a killer, we blame Islam.

We all want to write a review of Quran or pass judgements on Islam and Allah(God) and Prophet Muhammad (saw) despite the fact we have never really read Quran back to back and have never really understood the message, the story line of the Quran!
Our point of reference in understanding Islam is totally messed up! It is totally stupid! Insane and illogical- just like all three statements above.
We look up to Muslims of today to understand Islam instead of looking up to the Quran..

We look up to terrorists and militants to come to a conclusion about Islam instead of looking at Seerah of Prophet Muhammad saw.
We look up to interpretations of the Quran by orientalists, atheists, CNN and BBC instead of looking up the experts of Islam i.e practicing muslim scholars.

Would you ever go to study algebra and arithmetics from a person who flunked maths in school and college? Then why do you go to fox, cnn, bbc, atheists, heretics and lunatics to get your info about Quran and Islam?

The correct reference to understanding Islam is Quran and the Life of Prophet Muhammad (saw) …but even here people may go wrong.
Have you ever heard of a person who became a doctor by self studying? Without ever going to a medical college, without ever doing practicals - just by reading books on medicine can a person become a doctor? qualified to see patients?

Similarly to understand Quran and seerah you need a teacher a guide who can assist you, help you, clarify concepts and explain the context and details to you.Your part is to verify and cross check so you are not misguided.

So learn to :
Judge Islam Justly
remember Not everything that a Muslim does is Islam
If a Muslim fails in Islam, blame the Muslim, not his Islam
Judge Islam by Quran and Seerah - not by opinions of orientalists, heretics and lunatics

Searching for happiness?

Happiness is a common goal that everyone strives to attain. Philosophers, intellectuals, doctors and artists alike have all strived in search of the causes of happiness and ways to escape anxiety.

The reality is, however, that the proposed solutions achieve only partial or superficial happiness. They are more or less like drugs which only provide temporary relief; when their effect wares off, anxieties return two fold.

The following words invite you to ultimate happiness and will lead you to true success. But before you begin reading, I hope that you to take a moment to try to open your heart and mind - as the intelligent one is he who searches for the truth no matter where it lies.

An undeniable reality is that permanent happiness cannot be achieved except by believing in God - The Creator - and following His guidance. Since it is He who created mankind, He is the one who knows what pleases and benefits them, just as he knows what saddens and harms them. A number of psychologists have affirmed that only a religious person lives with true content and serenity. So if believing in God leads to ultimate happiness, then how can this be achieved?

There are numerous religions and a variety of creeds. However, their critical differences in core issues make it impossible for all of them to be correct. So which is the correct religion? What is the correct creed that God requires us to believe in and in the end pleases Him? And which one of these creeds guarantees us happiness in this life and in the hereafter?

Before answering these questions, a criterion must first be established to be used as a basis for correctly determining the true religion. I firmly believe that all sensible people will agree that a religion is not deemed correct simply due to the fact that one was raised in that religion, had parents that adhered to it, or lived in a society that practiced it. Rather a religion's accuracy and authenticity are based upon substantial evidence and firm intellectual proofs. Intellect, the distinguishing factor between mankind and animals, must be applied when studying the issue of religion, which is undeniably the most important and gravest of all matters.

A short journey into the world of religions and sifting through various creeds could prove to be a good method in arriving at the desired conclusion. In order to save you the time and effort, I say with full conviction and confidence that no matter how much you investigate this issue, you will only arrive at one reality: that the true and correct religion is Islam and that true happiness and content lies within it.

Before you hastily rebut this statement and stop reading, please realize that completing the rest would not harm you at all, and it may in fact benefit you. Also, remember that you have an intellect by which you can distinguish things and determine truth from falsehood.

Why Islam?

This is an important question, indicating that the questioner is mature and enlightened. In response I say:

Islam is a religion that includes a number of merits and characteristics that are absent from other religions. These characteristics, alone, serve as convincing evidence that Islam is the true religion of God. You can determine the authenticity of this statement by contemplating them.

Islam's many merits and characteristics make it impossible to elaborate on all of them. However, some of the most important can be summarized as follows:

1. Amongst the greatest merits of Islam is that it fulfills the spiritual aspects of the human being and enables those who embrace it to have an ongoing connection with God. This makes it possible for them to be at ease spiritually. It shields them from chaos, being lost or feeling (spiritually) empty, and protects from mental instability.

2. Another of Islam’s merits is that it coincides totally with common sense. All of the Islamic legislation and its rulings are acceptable intellectually and are never contradictory. One man who embraced Islam was asked why he did so and replied, "Islam never ordered me to do anything that I later wished wasn't obligated, and it never forbade me from anything that I later wished wasn’t forbidden." Much of what is readily accepted in other religions causes great confusion. This confusion makes it difficult to believe many of the fundamental tenets/doctrines that these religions are based upon. On the other hand, we find that Islam respects the intellect, prohibits ignorance, and condemns blind following.

3. Islam is an all-inclusive way of life attending to both spiritual and physical needs. Practicing Islam does not mean that one has to be secluded or that he is prohibited from the finer things in life. Rather, according to Islam, a person can be religious and still enjoy a normal life - attaining prestigious ranks/positions and achieving the highest academic degrees.

4. Among the merits of Islam is that it is a comprehensive religion. Every aspect of a person’s life is managed by Islam. There is not a problem except that a solution for it lies in Islam, which makes it possible to embrace and practice in every time and place. How can this not be the case in such a well organized religion that has guidelines and positive instruction for every aspect of life including: conflict resolution, buying and selling, social and marital relations, greetings, public etiquettes, and even how a person eats, sleeps and dresses. These practices have not been addressed generally, but rather in precise detail, causing the mind to wonder in amazement. Know that Islam even provides direction on how to wear and remove footwear. It encourages people to use their right hand when eating, drinking, shaking hands, and when giving and receiving items. As for disliked affairs such as using the bathroom, the left hand is to be used. Islam also has wonderful instructions regarding going to sleep and waking up. When two Muslims meet, Islam directs them on how they should greet each other; a rider should initiate greeting the pedestrian, the youth should initiate greeting the elderly, and a small group should initiate greeting a larger group. These are but a few of Islam’s many comprehensive guidelines for all aspects of life.

5. Another of Islam’s merits is that it establishes good for mankind in all its regulations and safeguards them from evil. It is man himself who benefits from these regulations. Islam's prohibition of alcohol and drugs for example is only because of the great harm they cause to a person's physical and mental health. You can witness the state of a drunken man, no longer human except in appearance. A lot of murders, disputes, traffic accidents and rapes would not have taken place were it not for consuming these mind-altering products. Islam's prohibition of premarital sex relieves societies of destructive diseases (such as AIDS and other STDs), immoral behavior, and the existence of a generation of illegitimate children. This generation is often deprived of a mother’s love and a father’s upbringing which can lead them to become burdensome on society. Islam prohibits women from displaying themselves publicly. This is because Islam considers women to be valued, preserved pearls; not some cheap merchandise to be displayed for all to see. It does so to protect them from the wolves of mankind - those who are only concerned with satisfying their lusts, even if it is at the cost of a woman’s honor, nobility, status, and purity. On the other hand, Islam permits all harmless and beneficial drinks. It also permits married couples to enjoy one another within a happy home. In summary, Islam has not eliminated freedoms and desires. Rather, it regulates them for the benefit of mankind and the society at large.

6. A radiant aspect of Islam is that it pays a great deal of attention to values, character, and praiseworthy manners, while prohibiting mankind from oppression, transgression and bad character. Islam is a religion of love, unity and mercy. It defines an individual’s relationship with his parents, relatives, neighbors, friends and all people. Islam embeds the best of manners in those who embrace it and prevents them from living selfishly. It encourages its followers to help others and take others' feelings into consideration - especially the poor, orphans, elderly and widows. They all have rights in Islam that must not be taken lightly by Muslims. Muslims shouldn’t feel like they are bestowing favors upon others when giving them their due rights, rather these rights are obligations upon Muslims. It is considered to be a great sin in Islam for one to go to sleep with a full stomach knowing that his neighbor is hungry.

Islam even prohibits two people from whispering to each other in the presence of a third, taking his feelings into consideration. Islam goes even further than that, obligating kind treatment to animals and prohibiting harming them. More specifically, Islam prohibits slaughtering an animal while another watches, or sharpening a knife while it is watching, so that it is not tormented along with being slaughtered.

Truthfulness, trustworthiness, bravery, generosity, humility, abiding by promises, visiting the sick, attending funerals, being dutiful to parents, visiting relatives and neighbors, and striving to help others are all etiquettes that are encouraged by Islam. On the other hand, Islam strictly prohibits oppression, lying, conceitedness, envy, and insulting or betraying others. It is impermissible in Islam to speak ill of a person in his absence, even if what is being said is true. Islam encourages people to moderate in spending, being neither excessive nor misers. During times when a lot of societies complain about cold heartedness, materialism, selfishness and so on, we find that Islam has proven remedies for all of these problems.

This summarized introduction should make it clear that Islam is a logical religion that can be easily understood by all people. The doors to Islam are wide open and do not shut for anyone looking to enter.

Understanding all of Islam's teachings in a short article is impossible. However, briefly discussing some of its fundamental tenets should assist in further clarifying the religion for those who are interested.

All of Islam’s regulations and teachings are important, but some have precedence over others. There are six essential articles of faith that one must believe in, and five pillars that one's faith must be built upon.

As for the six articles that must be believed in:

1. Believing in Allah (God) alone, associating no partners unto Him in worship. This is done by believing that Allah alone is the Creator of this universe and everything that is within it, and that it is He alone who disposes its affairs as He sees fit. Consequently, worship can only be offered to Him alone. Worship is implementing the teachings of Islam and its legislation while believing that all other religions are false.

2. Believing in the angels. Angels were created by Allah but we can not see them. They worship Allah and never disobey Him. Allah orders them to carry out many of the universe's affairs. The angel Gabriel, for example, (peace be upon him) delivers Allah’s revelation to the messengers. Another is Mikayeel (peace be upon him), who is entrusted with the affairs of rain. Still there are other angels responsible for writing the deeds of mankind - deeds which they will be held accountable for on the Day of Resurrection. It is essential to believe that all of the angels act solely upon the order of Allah and do only what He wills.

3. Believing in the Books of Revelation. This means to believe that Allah revealed books to His servants comprising of His words. These books contain bliss for mankind by clarifying what Allah is pleased with as well as what He dislikes. The Angel charged with delivering revelation to the Prophets is Gabriel (peace be upon him) - the greatest of angels. A prophet then conveys the revelation to the rest of mankind. Allah has revealed many books, amongst them: The Torah, revealed to Moses (peace be upon him), The Psalms, revealed to David (peace be upon him), The Gospel, sent down to Jesus (peace be upon him) and the Quran, which was revealed to Muhammad (peace be upon him). One must believe that the Quran has abrogated all books prior to it, meaning that - after the Prophet (Muhammad) was sent - it is the only book that can be acted upon, especially since the Quran combines all the merits of past books and further supplements them. Know that the Quran is from the greatest evidences that this religion is the truth revealed by Allah (God) the Most High. The Quran was revealed over 1400 years ago. Since then till this day, no contradictions or mistakes have been found in the Quran, not even in a single word. Many of the scientific discoveries of modern times were mentioned in the Quran. Since that time until today, nothing has been added to or subtracted from the Quran, while previous revelations have been tampered with and altered. It is for this reason that you can pick up a copy of the Quran in the far East and find it to be exactly the same as one you pick up in the far West. If you were to come across a copy of the Quran that is hundreds of years old, you would also find that it is exactly the same as the one being printed currently - you wouldn’t be able to find even one letter that is different. This is because of Allah’s protection of this Book, the Book of the religion that sealed all other religions. Speaking about the Quran would take a lot of time. However, it is enough for you to know that there is nothing like it whatsoever; not by way of (literary) style, its effect on people, nor its information about the unseen.

4. Believing in the Prophets. This is done by believing that Allah has chosen the best of mankind to be recipients of His revelation and ordered them to convey His religion to the people. There are numerous Prophets, among them are: Noah, Abraham, David, Solomon, Lot, Joseph, Moses and others (peace be upon all of them). Also from them is Jesus. It is imperative to believe that he is among the best of Prophets and to love and respect him. Whoever despises him or denies his prophethood is not Muslim. Likewise it is compulsory to believe that Allah created him from a mother only, with no father, just as Allah created Adam with neither a mother nor a father. Having mentioned this, we now know that Jesus is a noble messenger and not God, nor is he a son of God. He foretold the coming of a prophet to come after him; Muhammad ibn (the son of) Abdullah, the last of the prophets. Muhammad ibn Abdullah (peace be upon him) was sent 1400 years ago. It is compulsory for everyone who comes after him until the Day of Judgment to believe in him and his message, and obey his orders and prohibitions. All those who studied the biography of this messenger have agreed that he is a great personality who has been bestowed with the best of manners and most noble etiquettes. He had characteristics which were not present in anyone before him and will not be present in anyone after him. Anything that you read about him, no matter how small it is, confirms what I am saying. Allah has also granted him proofs and evidences that establish the authenticity of his prophethood, thus having doubt in this fact is intellectually impossible. Having been given such proofs and evidences of his prophethood, whoever denies his truthfulness, would make it impossible for that individual to establish the truthfulness of any other prophet.

5. The Last Day. This is fulfilled firmly believing that after this life of ours is over, there is another more complete life. In it, there are immense rewards and magnificent luxuries, as well as punishment. Luxury is in Heaven and punishment in Hell. So whoever is righteous and believes in the religion of Islam enters Heaven, a place that contains untold pleasure and unimagined bliss. All the luxuries on earth cannot be compared to it at all. Whoever enters Heaven will continue to live in such luxuries for eternity as death does not exist therein. As for those who act upon evil and do not believe in Islam, they would end up in Hell, which contains fires and punishment that can not be imagined, all of the fires of earth and forms of punishment cannot be compared to the punishment of the hellfire at all. The existence of punishment and reward after this life is an issue that is intellectually acknowledged, because it is impossible for this world to exist and then just diminish into nothingness. This is trifling about, and our Lord, the Creator, does not engage in such activities.

6. Believing in Divine Decree. This is to believe that everything that happens in this world is due to Allah’s knowledge and will. Nothing except what He wills takes place, and what He does not will, does not take place. Allah has written everything in a great book (The Preserved Tablet). Believing in divine decree also includes believing that Allah created everything.

As for the five pillars that must be practiced:

1. Uttering a phrase that is the key to entering into Islam. It is a contract between a servant and his Lord, signifying that he is upon this religion: “Ashhadu an la ilaha ila Allah, wa ashadu ana Muhammad ‘abduhu wa rasuluhu.” “I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger.” This testimony signifies the acceptance, admission, and adherence to the fact that worship must be offered to Allah alone. It also includes the acceptance of Islam as the only correct religion, Allah as the only true deity deserving worship, and that all other deities and religions are false. The second part of the testimony entails an affirmation that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah and that he is to be obeyed and believed in all that he says.

2. The Prayer. It is a combination of statements, actions and invocations carried out in a specific manner. It is performed five times daily and doesn’t take much time at all. In fact, a prayer may not take more than five minutes. Prayer is the link between a servant and his Lord. It enables a Muslim to be confident, mentally and spiritually at rest, calm and untroubled.

3. The Zakaat. A wealthy Muslim must give a small portion of his money to the poor, 2.5% of his wealth to be exact. Even though it is a small amount, it enables the Muslim community to be conciliated and merciful amongst each other. It propagates brotherhood, love and concern amongst Muslims. And again, Zakaat is only to be given out by the wealthy, not the poor.

4. Fasting. What is meant by fasting is that a person withholds from eating, drinking and sexual relations during the month of Ramadan [which is the 9th month of the lunar calendar] between dawn and sunset. The sick, travelers, and those with valid excuses are pardoned from fasting. They are permitted to eat and drink but must make up the missed days once they become able. Fasting has many health, personal, and social benefits. Amongst them are: giving the digestive system a break, allowing Muslims to grow spiritually and practice good mannerisms. It enables Muslims to be conscious of their needy brothers and sisters, those who are unable to find enough food to satisfy their needs throughout the year. Consequently, the Muslims humble themselves and strive to help them.

5. Hajj. It is a form of worship that must be performed only once in a lifetime, in Makkah. Those who are physically incapable or not financially able to perform it are pardoned from doing so. Hajj contains many magnificent benefits; the gathering of Muslims from all around the globe in one place getting to know each other and displaying love for one another, not to mention what a Muslim achieves by way of spiritual purification and character refinement due to experiencing such a spiritual environment in the shade of Hajj.

Hopefully what has preceded is sufficient in clarifying - in a summarized fashion - some of the merits of Islam. I invite all who have not yet entered into the fold of Islam to listen to a sincere invitation from one who only wants good for you: save yourself before death takes you by surprise, and thus you die upon other than Islam - what a great loss that is!

Do you know what dying upon other than Islam means? It means that you would enter the Hellfire, abiding therein for eternity. This is what Allah has warned all those who die without embracing Islam. So why would you take a chance with an issue as grave as this?

I’m going to ask you a question that I want you to answer honestly:
What would you lose if you embraced Islam?

If you embrace Islam, you can continue living your normal ordinary life, but in a more spiritual, organized, and pleasant fashion…and after death, tremendous delight and eternal pleasure await you.

If you have reached a level of conviction, believing that Islam is the true religion, but fear that embracing Islam would prevent you from enjoying pleasures that you cannot live without, then compare these temporary pleasures with eternal pleasure. Which of the two should be given preference?

Furthermore, you can embrace Islam and then gradually try to reduce such pleasures. And if you were to honestly invoke Allah, He would surely aid you in leaving them. In any case, embracing Islam and having shortcomings is better than not embracing Islam at all.

If the barrier between you and Islam is due to having a weak personality, the inability to make such a big decision, or because you fear that people may talk about you or mock you, know that these are just unrealistic thoughts. You would not be the first person to embrace Islam; a lot of others have made the decision to do so. They did not lose anything, their lives were not ruined, nor do they have any regrets. Furthermore, does it make sense that you sacrifice your own well being and happiness in this life and in the hereafter just because you fear mockery or admonishment?

This affair is worthy of your time. Contemplate upon it deeply.

My last words: Do not lose yourself! I ask Allah to bless you with true guidance.

One who wishes only the best for you,

section1: gospel writers: Quran vs. Bible from the book Islam and Christianity by Dr. Muhammad Ali Alkhuli you have to read IT!!

Matthew is Jesus' disciple. But he wrote his gospel in Hebrew, the original of which is lost forever. What is available is the translation of that lost original. Thus no one can prove that Matthews's gospel of today is identical with what Matthews wrote, because no original is available.

Mark is not Jesus' disciple. He is Peter's disciple. Thus mark gospel cannot be considered as first hand narration. Mark did not see what Jesus did, nor did he hear what Jesus said. No one can prove the truth of
Mark's reporting about Jesus. Jesus' disciples are more reliable reports about Jesus than disciples of a disciple.

Similarly, Luke is not Jesus' disciple. He never saw or heard him. Luke is not even a disciple f a disciple, Luke s a disciple of Paul, who was never a disciple of Jesus. How can we accept Luke's reporting if he never saw or heard Jesus?
What authentic value do his reports have when they are merely third-hand reports?

As for the evangelist John, scholars assert that he is not john the disciple of Jesus. The content of the gospel of John and its wording, as analysis tells, cannot be written by John, the disciple of Jesus. Someone wrote it and attributed it to John the disciple to give it more reliability. Scholars confirm that it was written about 97 A.D, i.e. sixty four years after Jesus disappearance. John would be at least eighty-four years by then, assuming that he was only twenty years at Jesus disappearance.

Why should John the disciple wait until he was 84 years to write the gospel? Why did he wait 64 years to begin his work? This confirms the conclusion that John's gospel was not written by John the disciple.

What we have in brief are four strongly –doubted gospels. Matthew's original manuscript is lost for ever and none can prove the authenticity of the present translated version. Mark's gospel cannot be highly trusted because Mark was not a disciple of Jesus and thus he was not a first-hand reporter. The same defect applies to Luke, and even more clearly, because Luke was a disciple of Jesus. Luke's gospel is third hand writer, and not by John the disciple, who's his name was simply used as a cover.

In contrast, the Quran is one version. We don’t have different versions of the Quran.
Q: Which do you choose to be God's pure word: the gospel with its four different contradictory versions and lost originals and second-hand and third-hand reporting OR the Quran with its one single version?

Each ramadan should be a motivation for us to increase our eman (faith) and taqwa (fear of god) by focusing on doing all the good works and obligations to serve our religion.

Ramadan MUSTs:

  • Cultivating Good Manners. "Fasting is not merely abstaining from eating and drinking. Rather, it is also abstaining from ignorant and indecent speech".

  • Sensing Muslim Unity.

  • Intend to fast every day with Iman and pure intention seeking the reward from Allah alone.

  • Read the whole Qur'an at least once as the Prophet peace be upon him did.

  • Give Sadaqah (give aways) and be good to people. The Prophet peace be upon him was the most generous of people and he was most generous in Ramadan.

  • Avoid anything that diminishes the fast such as, lying, backbiting, cheating, getting angry. The Prophet peace be upon him said "Whoever does not give up false statements (i.e. telling lies), and evil deeds, and speaking bad words to others, Allah is not in need of his (fasting) "

  • Ask for forgiveness since this is the month Allah frees people from the hell.

  • Pray At-Tarawih (a prayer preformed after al esha'a -the fifth prayer- only in the holy month of ramadan).

  • Feed the poor and invite others for Iftar. The Prophet peace be upon him said, "Whoever gives Iftar to someone fasting he will have the same reward without decreasing the reward of the person fasting".

  • Try harder the last ten nights of ramadan The prophet would strive in Ramadan more than he would in any other month and more so in the last ten days.

  • Ask Allah to accept all your good actions during this month.

Introduction to Islam

The literal meaning of Islam is peace; surrender of one’s will i.e. losing oneself for the sake of God and surrendering one’s own pleasure for the pleasure of God. The message of Islam was revealed to the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings on him) 1, 400 years ago. It was revealed through angel Gabriel (on whom be peace) and was thus preserved in the Holy Quran. The Holy Quran carries a Divine guarantee of safeguard from interpolation and it claims that it combines the best features of the earlier scriptures.

The prime message of Islam is the Unity of God, that the Creator of the world is One and He alone is worthy of worship and that Muhammad (peace and blessings on him) is His Messenger and Servant. The follower of this belief is thus a Muslim - a Muslim’s other beliefs are: God’s angels, previously revealed Books of God, all the prophets, from Adam to Jesus (peace be on them both), the Day of Judgement and indeed the Decree of God. A Muslim has five main duties to perform, namely; bearing witness to the Unity of God and Muhammad (peace and blessings on him) as His Messenger, observing the prescribed prayer, payment of Zakat, keeping the fasts of Ramadhan and performing the pilgrimage to Mecca.

Islam believes that each person is born pure. The Holy Quran tells us that God has given human beings a choice between good and evil and to seek God’s pleasure through faith, prayer and charity. Islam believes that God created mankind in His image and by imbuing the attributes of God on a human level mankind can attain His nearness. Islam’s main message is to worship God and to treat all God’s creation with kindness and compassion. Rights of parents in old age, orphans and the needy are clearly stated. Women’s rights were safeguarded 1,400 years ago when the rest of the world was in total darkness about emancipation. Islamic teachings encompass every imaginable situation and its rules and principles are truly universal and have stood the test of time.

In Islam virtue does not connote forsaking the bounties of nature that are lawful. On the contrary one is encouraged to lead a healthy, active life with the qualities of kindness, chastity, honesty, mercy, courage patience and politeness. In short, Islam has a perfect and complete code for the guidance of individuals and communities alike. As the entire message of Islam is derived from the Holy Quran and indeed the Sunnah and Hadith (the traditions and practices of the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings on him) it is immutable in the face of change in time and place. It may appear rigid to the casual eye, in actual fact it is most certainly an adaptable way of life regardless of human changes.

Islam teaches that the path to spiritual development is open to all. Any individual who searches the One Creator can seek nearness to God through sincere and earnest worship; it is central to establishing a relationship with the Almighty. This positive message for humanity fills hearts with hope and courage.

At present there are 1.5 billion Muslims worldwide and they form the majority in more than 50 countries of the world. Today Islam is the fastest growing faith in the world - its beautiful message is reaching millions in the far corner of the earth.

A question

Merits of Islam Question:

Why the Moslems believe do that their religion is the true one?

Do they have convincing reasons?

That is due to many reasons of which I will quote the following :

1. The Moslem adores a single god who does not have a associate and who has the most beautiful names, the attributes sublimes.

This carries out the unit of the orientation and the objective of the Moslem.

This one places its confidence in Its Master and Creator, relies on Him, aspires to His assistance, His assistance and His support. He believes that Its Master is omnipotent and need neither for a wife nor of a child has, and He created the skies and the ground and that it is Him which gives the life and gives death and He is the Creator provider of subsistence. The servant requests the subsistence near Him, Audiant, the Guarantor. The servant calls upon it and hopes Its exaucement since It is prompt to accept the repentance, as It is the pardonnor, the miséricordieux one. The servant repent with Him when it makes a sin and a negligence in practice worship of its Master, the Omniscient one, Informed of all, the Omnipresent one which knows the major intentions and secrecies. This pushes the servant to have shame to make the sin which consists in being made injustice or to do it with others.

Because it knows that its Master knows about what it does as it knows that its Master is wise and expert of the mystery. This is why the servant has confidence in the choice that the Master made for him and in the divine decree relating to it since it knows that Its Maîre does not injure it and that any judgement established in its opposition is a good, even if the servant does not seize the wisdom which chairs it.

2. Effects of the Moslem pertaining to worship practices on the Moslem. The prayer creates a bond between him and its Master. When it engages there with reverence, it tests quietude, peace and the rest because it is pressed on a very solid pillar which is Allah, the Powerful one, the Majestic one. This is why the Prophet of Islam, Muhammad (blessing and hello are on him) said: “Allow us to rest in the prayer” When a business disturbed it, it had recourse to the prayer. When a person confronted with a test tries out the prayer, it feels a help getting of patience and the consolation in front of its test. That is explained by the fact why the prior recites in his prayer the words of his Master. However the effects of these words are incomparable with the effects of the repetition of a human word.

If the speech of certain psychiatrists can prove comforting and decompressing, that to say speech of That which created the psychiatrist? As for the zakate, one of the five pillars of Islam, it removes the man from avarice, accustoms it to generosity in particular with the assistance with the poor and the needy one, and gets to him, like the others practise pertaining to worship, a reward which will be useful for him for the day of Resurrection. It does not constitute a financial burden comparable with the human taxes, insofar as it accounts for only 25/1000 of the good concerned. The true Moslem discharges it readily and does not seek to conceal itself there, even if nobody continued it for that. As for the fast, it consists in abstaining from eating, drinking and the intimate reports/ratios to observe the worship of Allah, to express his conscience of the need for famished and for frustrated and to remember the benefits of the Creator towards the creatures in particular an unqualifiable reward. As for the pilgrimage at the crowned House built by Abraham (psl), it constitutes an execution about Allah, offers the occasion to make prayers assured exaucement and makes it possible to become acquainted with Moslems come from the four corners of the sp3. Islam recommends any good, prohibited any evil and preaches the practice of a whole of codes of conduct and beautiful virtues like the veracity, leniency, reserve, softness, humility, decency, the respect of the promise, dignity, the compassion, equity, courage, patience, the availability (with the others), probity, satisfying, the benevolence, the tolerance, honesty, the gratitude and the self-control (in the event of anger). Islam recommends the filial devotion, the good maintenance of the relations of relationship, the assistance with the disaster victims, the good treatment of the neighbor, the good management of the goods of the orphan, the compassion towards the small one, the respect for the old man, softness in the treatment of the servants and the animals, the garbage collection, the fine words, forgiveness, the renunciation of the punishment starting from a position of force, the good council given by a Moslem to another, the satisfaction of the needs for the Moslems, to grant to the debtor in difficulty, the practice of the altruism and division, the consolation (of the others), to smile to people, to enquérir themselves of the state of the patients, to help oppressed, to offer gifts to the companions, to treat the host well, to behave well with regard to the wife, to ensure the vital maintenance of its joint and his/her children, to diffuse safety (to say: Assalamou alaykoum/That the Peace of Allah is on you) and to require the permission before entering a house, in order not to violate the intimacy of its inhabitants. So some nonMoslems achieve some of these things there, they do them as general rules of propriety. But they hope for neither remuneration of it neither reward (divine), neither success nor happiness in beyond. As for prohibited Islam, one notes that they always aim an individual or social interest. All prohibitions pour in the direction of the relations binding the faithful one to its Master on the one hand and his next on the other hand. Let us take these many examples to illustrate our matter: Islam prohibited the shirk (polytheism) thus the worship of a divinity other than Allah, and teaches that the worship of such a divinity leads to the disaster and misfortune. It still prohibited the frequentation of the soothsayers or other promising preachers and the acceptance of their declaration. In the same way, it prohibited the practice of the magic used to bring together or separate two people. It excludes also the belief in the influence from the stars and planets on the events and the human life. It still prohibits the fact of insulting time since it is Allah who ensures management of it. It is the same because of drawing bad forecasts (certain phenomena). It still prohibits the cancellation of works by the desire to be made see or hear or the fact of recalling a benefit to the recipient. Among the other Moslem proscriptions appears what follows: - to incline itself or prosterner as a sign of reverence at the place of another that Allah; - to sit down with the hypocrites to express the approval of their company; - to call upon the curse or divine anger or the entry in hell against somebody; - to urinate in a stagnant water; - to relieve itself on a way or in a shade used by people or around a feeding trough or while directing themselves towards Mecque or while turning the back to him (this also applies to the urine); - to greet a person who gets rid; - to plunge its hands in water before washing them after its alarm clock; - to request under the pressure of the urine, of the defecation or the pète, all that being likely to disturb the prior and to divert it necessary reverence. ; - to raise the voice during the prayer in order to harm the others and to continue the night prayers in the event of somnolence because one must then sleep then to awake later to request, and the fact of requesting all the night in an uninterrupted way; - to put an end to its prayer in case of bearing doubt on the reality of the cause of interruption, as long as one will not have heard a sound or will have felt an odor; - to carry out an operation of purchase or sale or search for an object lost inside the mosques because those constitute places of worship and recall of Allah in whom it is not appropriate to deal with fashionable things; - to press the step while going to take part in the prayer because one must walk calmly and with dignity; - to compete in the decoration of the mosques with the use of colors red and yellow and of the mosaics like all that distracts the faithful ones from the prayer; - to observe an uninterrupted fast; - to fast without the authorization of the husband present; - to build on the tombs, to raise them, sit down on top, go with shoes between the tombs, to light them, write on top, to empty them of their contents and to transform them into mosque; - to cry a death through cries, to tear clothing, to deploy the hair at the time of the death of a person, to announce a death with the ante-Islamic manner. But the only advertisement of the death does not represent any disadvantage; - to nourish riba (banking interest) and to practise all kinds of sale implying ignorance, fraud or cheating; - the sale of blood, the wine, the pig, the idols and any object of which the use is prohibited by Allah because the exchange of his price is prohibited; - higher bid on behalf of a person who does not wish to buy as that arrives within the framework of many operations of auction sale; - dissimulation of the defects of goods exposed on sale; - to sell an object before having which it or taking delivery of it; - to carry out a sale on another or a purchase on another or a negotiation on another; - to sell fruits before their maturity and before they are not safe from a damage; - use of defective weighing and measuring instruments (by bad faith); - to sell its share of a ground, a field of date palms or a similar property before proposing the purchase with its associate of it; - to eat the goods of the orphan wrongfully; - to practise the games of chance or to nourish their fruits; - to resort to the usurpation and the practice of the active and passive corruption; - to plunder or despoil the goods of the others; - to seize the goods of the others to alienate them; - to buy goods at a price lower than its normal price (in spite of the owner); - to dissimulate an object lost to seize some; - to collect an object lost without intending to announce it; - to consume blood, meat of the pig or that of an animal cut the throat of without the mention of the name of Allah or with the mention of the name of another; - to consume what is cut the throat of in the honor of the idols; - to consume the flesh of any animal which nourishes dirtiness to attack the honor of the pure women; - to attack the honor of an innocent person or to calumniate it; - to make fun somebody by the gesture or a wink; - to exchange bad nicknames, to deliver themselves to the scandalmongering, hawking, the mocking remark with regard to the Moslems, to enorgueillir themselves for its birth and to blame the genealogy of somebody; - to deliver itself to the insult, the insults, the remarks obscenes and degrading; - to curse one believing or a person who does not deserve it; - to insult deaths; - to call upon death for somebody or to wish it for oneself because of an evil which one underwent; - to request against oneself, against his/her children, its servants and its goods....

allah's orders and prohibited prescribed to ensure the happiness of humanity. Did you ever see or known, author of the question, a religion like this one? Read again the answer then put you the question to know if it is not a pity that you are not yet one of his followers? Allah the Very High one said in incommensurable Coran: “And whoever wishes a religion other than Islam, will not be approved, and it will be, in beyond among the losers. ” (quran, 3: 85). Lastly, I wish you and wishes with any person who will have read this answer the assistance (divine) which enables him to take the right route, that of the truth. Can Allah preserve us all of any evil .

translation of L'Islam

Islam preserves psychological balance in several ways human being. Here we will see how Islam establishes the relations between the man and the woman. The safety of the family Islam gives the greattest importance to family safety, because the family is the social cell most important, it ensures the physical and psychological balance of its members. When the family is destroyed by the divorce, the whole of its members are unbalanced. How the child can grow in good physical and moral health without his/her two parents? A child does not need only milk, it needs affection, education, a good example to follow. Within the family, it learns how to develop its personality, its vocabulary, its practices. The child is the adult of tomorrow. Apart from the family structure, it cannot develop in an optimal way. A private child of the presence and affection of the one of his parents develop disorders of an emotional nature. It can feel rejected everyone, which will develop in him an antisocial attitude. This bad social adjustment and this emotional lack will involve other problems. The family is the best place for a child to grow sentimentally, spiritually and even physically. Islam is thus a protection for the family and the child. Islam protége does all of it lemonde while protecting the family, because each one among us was a child and the children of today will be the men and the women of tomorrow.

The protection of the child Islam is a protection for the child in various ways. It prevents the possibility of having children apart from the marriage. As we note it, the child resulting from a not-matrimonial union is generally given up by one of his parents, even both, and finds himself sent in an orphanage, where certainly it will be placed, nourished, partially educated, but it will not receive the affection and the love for which it has more the need to evolve/move in a manner balanced. No illegitimate children How Islam prevent does the births of illegitimate children? The sexual relations between man and woman are allowed only in the crowned bonds of the marriage. This limitation is not only theoretical but also practical, bus Allah prohibited the free frequentation and communication between men and women. Indeed, if the two sexes are attended freely, nothing will be able to prevent them from having illegal sexual relations and that will inevitably cause births of illegitimate children. Islam prescribes the marriage as the strict base of the base of family.

Obligation of the decency in the vestimentary behaviour Moreover Islam prescribed, for the woman in particular, like the man, to dress itself in a modest way. This is translated in practice for the woman by the obligation to entirely cover the body, of the head to the feet except the face and the hands. In any event, this obligation of vestimentary modesty is for the company a safeguard against the immorality of public manners. On the contrary, in the companies or the woman is encouraged to appear the most stripped possible, most sexual possible, the result is known, the decline of manners settles.

The woman: marry and mother Islam regards the woman as a wife and a mother.
In contrast, the majority of the not-Islamic companies regard the woman as a sex object with the detriment of the noble role of wife and mother. Islam educates and prepares the woman with her role of wife and mother, because the family needs a wife dedicated to her husband and a mother dedicated to her children. We presented how Islam prevents the possibility of illegitimate births by prohibiting the free frequentation of the men and the women.
This is one in the manners of protecting the child. The other manner of protecting the child is by protecting the family. With each marriage, a new family is founded, with each birth the family increases and Islam protége the family while making the divorce difficult; even if it is allowed. If there were pronunciation of divorce, the husband has one 3 months period to take again his wife, who during this 3 months period must remain under the roof of her husband, without the sexual relations theirs not being allowed, unless the husband announces that it takes again his wife! The divorce is one of the causes principal of the destabilization of the company and the children.

No free mixed frequentations Islam does not make it possible the man to freely attend women, in order to protect her relation with his wife. Islam does not make it possible the woman to freely attend men, in order to protect his relation with her husband. In Islam, the man and his wife are one for the other exclusively. This is the only means of protecting the marriage against the divorce, of avoiding the destruction of the family and of seeing the children growing without knowing their father or mother. On the other hand, in the companies where the mixed frequentations are free, two serious problems appear because of the free sexual relations apart from the marriage: firstly, the number of illegitimate children is very high, secondly, the marriage becomes extremely weakened. The marriages do not last a long time and the rate of divorce is very high. The divorce is not only the legal purpose of the marriage, but it is also the source of many stress and problems for the whole of the members of this family: the children, the parents-in-law, nearest relatives all are affected by the divorce of a couple. Admittedly, the Western companies developed technology, modern sciences, the industrial economy, but they only are little concerned with the protection of the family and the family life. The statistics and research abound on the means of protecting and to improve technology, sciences, the political life, the industrial output, on the other hand the unit of the family and the values family are completely forsaken; no consistent effort is made to develop and protect the nobility from the marriage and its values.

Protection of the marriage In the majority of the Western countries the rate of divorce reaches the 60%. Which is the significance of these figures? That wants to say quite simply that the social structure in occident destroys the marriage. This result is easy to envisage. In occident, the mixed frequentations are free, the consumption of alcohol is spread and decency of the women misses it helping; adultery is thing easy for those which do not fear God. In all these countries, the formula is as follows: men + women + alcohol + nudity + free frequentations = illegitimate children + destruction of the marriage + unhappy children. On the other hand with Islam one obtains the opposite formula: Separation of the men and the women + prohibited alcohol + female decency = legitimate children + protection of the marriage + protection of the children. It is high time for the Western specialists in sociology and psychology seriously to consider the statistics concerning the family problems generated by their moral system and to compare them with the results obtained in the same categories in the Moslem companies. It thus becomes obvious that the moral system of Islam is the only remedy for all these problems. Islam protége the family and children within the marriage. Islam guaranteed to the children to be born with parents linked by the bonds from the marriage, thus protecting the environment in which the child will grow. That the Peace and the Blessing of Allah are on the Mohammed Prophet on her family her Companions and those which followed it until the Day of the Judgment.

Belief in God

Muslims believe in one, unique, incomparable God, Who has no son nor partner, and that none has the right to be worshipped but Him alone. He is the true God, and every other deity is false. He has the most magnificent names and sublime perfect attributes. No one shares His divinity, nor His attributes. In the Quran, God describes Himself:
Say, “He is God, the One. God, to Whom the creatures turn for their needs. He begets not, nor was He begotten, and there is none like Him.” (Quran, 112:1-4)
No one has the right to be invoked, supplicated, prayed to, or shown any act of worship, but God alone.
God alone is the Almighty, the Creator, the Sovereign, and the Sustainer of everything in the whole universe. He manages all affairs. He stands in need of none of His creatures, and all His creatures depend on Him for all that they need. He is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing, and the All-Knowing. In a perfect manner, His knowledge encompasses all things, the open and the secret, and the public and the private. He knows what has happened, what will happen, and how it will happen. No affair occurs in the whole world except by His will. Whatever He wills is, and whatever He does not will is not and will never be. His will is above the will of all the creatures. He has power over all things, and He is able to do everything. He is the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, and the Most Beneficent. In one of the sayings of the Prophet Muhammad , we are told that God is more merciful to His creatures than a mother to her child.

God is far removed from injustice and tyranny. He is All-Wise in all of His actions and decrees. If someone wants something from God, he or she can ask God directly without asking anyone else to intercede with God for him or her.
God is not Jesus, and Jesus is not God. Even Jesus himself rejected this. God has said in the Quran:
Indeed, they have disbelieved who have said, “God is the Messiah (Jesus), son of Mary.” The Messiah said, “Children of Israel, worship God, my Lord and your Lord. Whoever associates partners in worship with God, then God has forbidden Paradise for him, and his home is the Fire (Hell). For the wrongdoers, there will be no helpers.” (Quran, 5:72)
God is not a trinity. God has said in the Quran:
Indeed, they disbelieve who say, “God is the third of three (in a trinity),” when there is no god but one God. If they desist not from what they say, truly, a painful punishment will befall the disbelievers among them. Would they not rather repent to God and ask His forgiveness? For God is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. The Messiah (Jesus), son of Mary, was no more than a messenger... (Quran, 5:73-75)at God rested on the seventh day of the creation, that He wrestled with one of His angels, that He is an envious plotter against mankind, or that He is incarnate in any human being. Islam also rejects the attribution of any human form to God. All of these are considered blasphemous. God is the Exalted. He is far removed from every imperfection. He never becomes weary. He does not become drowsy nor does he sleep.
The Arabic word Allah means God (the one and only true God who created the whole universe). This word Allah is a name for God, which is used by Arabic speakers, both Arab Muslims and Arab Christians. This word cannot be used to designate anything other than the one true God.

The Arabic word Allah occurs in the Quran about 2700 times. In Aramaic, a language related closely to Arabic and the language that Jesus habitually spoke, God is also referred to as Allah.
